My next presentation will go live this Saturday. Without saying too much about the content, the presentation will incorporate my survey results when asking folks on Twitter, Facebook, and Email which writing program they use. Thank you to those who participated in the survey so that I could turn you into a meaningless piece of a pie chart.
And here’s a little bit of book news…
(1) My book was chosen as the July book club pick for The Rumpus, an utterly fabulous website that I’m thrilled to be a part of.
(2) The book tour dates are coming together. I’m keeping the events page up-to-date. Please come out to one of the readings if you don’t mind me apologizing for my nervousness while on stage. Here is the schedule so far:
- August 15 in Seattle (Elliot Bay Books)
- August 16 in Portland (Powell’s Books downtown)
- August 18 in San Francisco (Green Apple Books)
- August 23 in San Diego (Upstart Crow Bookstore)
- September 20 in Portland (Annie Bloom’s)
- There will be a few more readings, mostly in California. More details as I know about them.
- Also, I’m insanely honored to be reading with Cheryl Strayed on July 27th in San Francisco as she celebrates the release of Tiny Beautiful Things.
(3) I’m constipated.
